TYLER VIDEO UPDATES

Nun ist unser kleiner Sonnenschein schon 9 Monate alt und fuer alle, die gern mal ein paar Highlights von Tyler im letzten Monat sehen moechten, habe ich ein paar Videos hochgeladen. Viel Spass beim Anschauen.

Our little sunshine is already 9 month and I have uploaded a couple videos for all, who like to have a look at some highlights during the last month. Have fun watching them.

TINY STEPS SAMUI

In der vergangenen Woche eroeffnete, ganz in unserer Naehe, ein neuer Kindergarten, mit dem suessen Namen Tiny Steps (kleine Schritte). Tyler und ich waren dort, um uns alles anzuschauen und es werden auch Spielzeiten fuer die ganz Kleinen angeboten. Die Leiterin, Debra, und Ihre Lehrerin Leah sind sehr freundlich und der Kindergarten sieht toll aus. Viel Platz zum Spielen, vor allem draussen, Hasen und Fische und es gibt einen Spielbereich fuer die Krabbler, der komplett mit weichen Matten ausgelegt ist und schoenes Spielzeug hat. Hier ein paar Fotos und wir werden nun regelmaessig dort vorbeischauen. Last week a new kindergarten opened, not far from our house. It has the cute name tiny steps and Tyler and I went over to have a look. They will offer play times for the very small ones and the owner Debra and teacher Leah are really nice. The place looks amazing with a lot of outside play area, bunny rabbits and fishes and a soft play area for the crawlers, which is completely covered in soft mats and great toys. NATHON - HAUPTSTADT VON SAMUI / CAPITAL OF SAMUI

 

 Wenn man auf dem Seeweg nach Koh Samui reist, landet man, in den meisten Faellen, am Haupthafen in Nathon. Es gibt auch noch einige kleinere Anlegestellen fuer Speedboote, aber die grossen Faehren (unter anderem alle Autofaehren) kommen in der Hauptstadt von Samui an. Fuer Touristen ist dies auch meist das einzige Mal, dass sie in Nathon sind, denn die meisten Hotels liegen mindestens eine halbe Stunde Fahrt entfernt. Und wenn man mit dem Flieger ankommt, sehen die meisten Touristen die kleine Hauptstadt meist gar nicht. Aber es ist auf jeden Fall eine Tour wert. Nathon liegt im Westen von Samui und hat eine Haupteinkaufsstrasse. Man findet dort viele lokale Geschaefte, Maerkte und Restaurant. Auch das Immigration Office und alle wichtigen staatlichen Stellen, wie Stromversorger, Internet, Arbeitsamt etc. findet man dort.

If you are arriving on Koh Samui via sea, you will arrive in most cases at the main habour of Nathon. There are some smaller arrival ports for speedboats in Samui, but the big ferries (including all car ferries) are arriving in Samui's capital. For most tourists, this is the only time they see nathon, as all the hotels are at least half an hour away from it. And if you arrive in Samui via airplane, most tourist won't see the capital at all. But it is worth a visit, that is for sure. Nathon is located on the west coast of Samui and has a main shopping street. You can find a lot of local shops, markets and restaurants there. The main government offices, like immigration, electric and internet office, but also the labor department are located in Nathon.
